Wedding Spotlight ~Jayde and Steve.

I had the absolute pleasure of creating this very special illustration for my beautiful friends, Jayde and Steve’s wedding at the magnificent Villa La Selva in Tuscany, Italy.

The Process

A few months before the wedding, Jayde and I created a small shared Pinterest board where we collated all of our ideas and inspiration for the project.

From there we narrowed it down to three stunning photographs of the venue, and settled on the beautiful gates at the front of the property.

Then began the very detailed watercolour painting stage, my absolute favourite part of the process!! Once this was finished, I sent a preview to Jayde and from there it was printed on to their wedding stationery.

The Wedding

In late August 2024, we made our way to Italy to watch these two beautiful souls declare their love for one another. Although the weather took a turn only hours before the ceremony, it was still so incredibly special and intimate at this gorgeous venue.

The celebrations continued the next day at the recovery pool party with endless pizzas and Aperol spritz’s, the perfect way to end the special occasion.

Jayde and Steve’s wedding was nothing short of magical and I was absolutely honoured to be a small part of their special day,
